“In January of 2012, I received a telephone call indicating that my father was taken to the hospital from his home via ambulance and that he was not doing well. This commenced a nearly seven-year journey of taking care of my dad as his medical conditions went from acute to chronic and the insults of age began to add up. On this journey, our family became aware that there was no single resource to help navigate the varied and complex waters of acute medical care, long term care, assisted living, insurance, and public and private benefits. Our family struggled for every piece of information that we could find and navigated these complex waters without a map or a compass. Every effort we made to get the care my dad needed was met with referrals to person after person and endless hours spent in phone trees with various entities, agencies, and organizations.
While we were fortunate to be able to bring dad home to live with us and provide most of his care needs, we could have avoided much heartache and headache had the services of someone like Selina Aguilera been available to us. If you or your family find yourself considering the long-term care needs of your parents or other seniors in your family, you will be well served to reach out to Generations Lifecare Management to help guide you along this sometimes long and winding road.”
“I have had the distinct pleasure of working alongside Kevin Aguilera in various capacities including in the advisement and leadership of non-profit organizations as it relates to financial matters. These organizations present unique situations related to donor relations, cash flow management, transparency, and fiduciary obligations of the upmost ethics and good faith. Throughout these processes Kevin has demonstrated excellent business and financial knowledge as well as problem solving skills. His analysis and subsequent recommendations have been presented to the end user with clarity and confidence.”
“Kevin’s’ precise financial insights and diagnosis of our needs have already given us realistic steps in improving our processes and saving precious time in decisions we need to make for long-term success. We are thankful for Kevin and his experience and insights as he has helped us navigate through the challenging waters of financial decisions.”
“I know Selina as a hard worker and critical thinker. She has good decision-making processes and is able to draw from her professional experiences and expertise. She makes things happen.
Selina was undoubtedly one of the most motivated and trustworthy individuals to ever work for me. Her willingness to put her own ego aside for the sake of the success of the community was remarkable.”
“During my time working with Selina, I had the opportunity to witness her interactions in client’s homes as well as with the Interdisciplinary Care Team which included Therapists, MD’s, RN’s, Dieticians, Social Workers, and CNA’s. She was professional, thorough, and compassionate in her approach to working with the Elderly and their families.
I feel that Selina is a professional and compassionate advocate for the Elderly and would be an asset to any organization she is a part of.”
